Our preschool has operated as a parent cooperative since 1940. While a professional teaching staff runs the program, member families own the school and are responsible for the administration and maintenance. This helps keep tuition low and allows parents to become fully involved in their child's education. It also serves to build a strong sense of community among the families in the school.

Fall Open House

Saturday, October 2, 2010, 10am-1pm

ECPC is currently accepting applications for Spring and Fall 2011. All are welcome. We especially encourage parents with children who will be 2 years 9 months old by Fall 2011 to stop by and learn more about ECPC. You may also sign up for a tour at that time.

We hope you can come by and play!

Bev Bos Workshop

"How Do Our Children Grow?"

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010, 7-9pm

Renowned early childhood development expert, author, and teacher Bev Bos presents the workshop "How Do Our Children Grow?"

In this free workshop, Bev will draw on child development, brain research, and learning styles. By examining what distinguishes a deficient environment from an enriching environment, participants will strengthen their understanding of how children learn so they can better address children's needs. The workshop will cover indoor and outdoor environments, with practical suggestions for the classroom and home, including a slide show.

Free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30pm. Arrive early for a good seat and to enjoy refreshments. Adults only, please.
